78 years after the liberation of Auschwitz, two concerts with a literary context will take place on Sunday, 10 September 2023 in the Grossmünster Kreuzggang (outside) in Zurich. The Sinti musicians Markus Reinhardt (grandnephew of Django Reinhardt) and Rudi Rumstajn from Cologne, the Roma band Ssassa (conducted by Christian Fotsch) and musician Omer Nevo, rabbinical assistant of the Jewish Liberal Congregation Or Chadasch in Zurich, will play and sing. Literarily, the two concerts are based on excerpts from the orte edition Auf der Milchstrasse fahren wir davon. Poetry by Roma, Sinti and Yenish.
