Igor Bogoev

Igor has studied the Balkan and oriental world of rhythm for years. Eastern Romani music is his passion. He studied with the tapan master Abdus Mustafov of Macedonia. He plays Darabuka, Tapan, Daire, Kanna und spoons, and he sings the mouth percussion "szájbögö". Igor studied ethnomusicology at the university of Zürich.

Igor plays with "Dschané", "Balkan Bazaar", "Baklava", "AGIF" and "Fridas Tanzbär", and he is guest musician of "SSASSA".
